Manufacturing Engineer Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement projects in manufacturing to reduce cost / improve
delivery.
- May lead customer driven engineering activity.
- Develop and implement solutions to non machining related manufacturing issues.
- Prepare manufacturing processes and documentation needed to transfer products to
secondary manufacturing sites
- Develops work instructions and operating standards for all areas of the business.
- Assists in development and implementation of documentation and training to assure
use of proper manufacturing and inspection techniques, methods and systems.
Qualifications
- Two year Degree in Machine Tool Trades or Manufacturing Technology, or equivalent
technical discipline with 0-5 years experience.
- Previous machine shop exposure; SME or other machining certification desired
- Familiar with use of statistics and other quality improvement tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and product specification documents
- Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methods
- Previous experience with automated manufacturing and inspection equipment
- Ability to prepare and implement project plans
- Familiarity with ISO9000 / AS9100 quality management systems
In-process/Set-Up Inspector (Weekend Shift)
Responsibilities
- Plans and performs in-process, receiving and set-up inspections
- Assists coworkers with the proper set-up and operation of inspection equipment.
- Assists coworkers with the interpretation of applicable document.
- Assists Final Inspection or Calibration Department.
- Creates and runs CMM Programs.
Qualifications
- 3-5 Years of Inspection Experience
- Must be proficient in blue print reading and Excel
- Experience running existing CMM Programs
CNC Vertical Milling Machinist (
2nd Shift & Weekend Shift)
Responsibilities
- Able to set-up on Yasnac & Fanuc controls
- Proficient with G & M codes
- Ability to understand & perform editing
- Machinist responsible for verifying quality of part
- Holding standard tolerance of .0005
- Ability to use Excel a plus
- ISO / AS9100 experience a plus
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience
- Technical Degree in machining or related field
Horizontal Machinist (2
nd Shift & Weekend Shift)
Responsibilities
- Able to set-up on Makino's using Fanuc controls
- Proficient with G & M codes
- Ability to understand & perform editing
- Machinist responsible for verifying quality of part
- Holding standard tolerance of .0005
- Ability to use Excel a plus
- ISO / AS9100 experience a plus
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience
- Technical Degree in machining or related field
CNC Turning Machinist
(2nd shift & Weekend)
Responsibilities
- Able to set-up on Hyundia (Siemens Control), Nakamura (Fanuc Control) & Mori
Seiki (Yasnac Control)
- Proficient with G & M codes
- Ability to understand & perform editing
- Machinist responsible for verifying quality of part
- Holding standard tolerance of .0005
- Ability to use Excel a plus
- ISO / AS9100 experience a plus
